The West Warwick Police Department is attempting to identify a male that entered two different grocery stores and successfully scammed cashiers out of several hundred dollars.

The male suspect produced a $100 bill and asked for change, then committed a "flim flam", leaving with over $500 in smaller bills. The male suspect stated to both cashiers that he is from New York and was just passing through.

After reviewing surveillance footage, it appears the male was operating a dark colored, newer model Chevy Tahoe.

The male suspect is described as being Hispanic, approximately 6' tall, with a large tattoo on the inside of his right forearm.
