The Providence Police Department is attempting to identify a female suspect involved in an assault at the Caribe Supermarket, 615 Charles St., Providence, R.I.

The female suspect became involved in argument with the clerk in which the suspect assaulted the victim. When witnesses attempted to intervene, the suspect displayed a knife.

The female suspect fled in a smaller green vehicle This suspect also has a neck tattoo and facial marks on her chin and jaw area and possibly a dark birthmark near her right eye.
