The Rhode Island State Police is attempting to identify a male suspect involved in a shoplifting incident that occurred at Target, 371 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, R.I.

The male suspect entered Target walked out of the store with a Dyson electric fan worth approximately $500.00. The suspect made no attempt to pay for the merchandise and passed numerous points of sale.

This suspect is possibly involved in several other incidents in our area and may be accompanied by another male suspect.
