The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect involved in the fraudulent use of credit cards that took place at several retail locations in Smithfield, RI.

On January 8, 2016, Smithfield Police took a fraud complaint. The victim stated that his Citizens Bank Debit/Visa Card was used at Staples, Home Depot, and Michaels Crafts located at the Smithfield Crossing’s (371 Putnam Pike). The victim still has his Citizens Bank Debit/Credit Card Iin his possession.

The fraudulent purchases were made on 01/08/16 at approximately 1230 hours. Google Play gift Cards, shelving, and Doritos were purchased. The total amount of goods purchased was $365.33.
