The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect involved in a larceny and an attempted larceny from the Ocean State Job Lot 1493 Hartford Ave, Johnston, RI.

On 10/17/15 the suspect entered the store and stole a "Champion" generator and a space heater.

On 1/23/16 the same male suspect attempted to steal another Champion generator. He fled the store after being stopped by store personnel.

EDWARD PROVENCAL (53) from Mapleville, RI.

On the same date above, PROVENCAL turned himself in to Warwick Police on a similar but unrelated criminal complaint. (CASE #140217 Warwick PD)
