ARMED & DANGEROUS

The Cranston Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect involved in an attempted armed robbery at the Bestway Gas Station, 1353 Park Ave, Cranston, RI.

On Monday, 2/29/16, at aproximately 7:38 PM, a suspect entered the store and attempted to rob the clerk at gunpoint. The suspect had a brief conversation with the clerk, demanded money and the displayed a gun.

The suspect then fired the weapon multiple times with the clerk sustaining several gunshot wounds.

The suspect is described as a male being between 5'9" and 5'11" tall with a slim build. The suspect was wearing a black hoody, a white skeleton mask, and gloves

The suspect left out the front door and fled on foot toward the Pocasset Apartments and is considered ARMED & DANGEROUS.
