The Rhode Island State Police are attempting to identify a suspect involved in the fraudulent use of a credit card at an ATM at a bank in Cranston, RI.

While the victim was doing her online banking, she noticed that her password was changed and that there were two fraudulent withdrawals from her account.  The first one was for $800.00 and a second one for $740.00  Both withdrawals were from the lobby ATM at Santander Bank located at 225 Atwood Avenue in Cranston.  At least one of these transactions occurred on September 19th, 2016 at 2:22 PM.

The victim was still in possession or her credit card, so it is assumed that the suspect added her account information to a counterfeit credit card and used the counterfeit card to withdraw the funds from the victim's account.

The suspect appears to be a tall african american male with short hair and a skinny build.
