The West Warwick Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect who commited a commercial burglary at Michael Gerard Jewelers & Coin, 1245 Main St., West Warwick, R.I.

On Wednesday, 3/21/2018, at approximately 10 PM, a male suspect broke into the jewelry store business by using an axe to break the front glass door. The suspect then entered the business and stole three trays of assorted gold rings including some with diamonds and other precious stones.

The suspect is described as a tall, slender, white male, wearing a light colored sweatshirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. He was last seen fleeing the store on foot.
