The Cranston Police Department is attempting to identify two females involved in a shoplifting at The Gap, 79 Hillside Rd (Garden City), Cranston, R.I.

On Saturday, 1/23/2021, at approximately 5:48 PM, two unidentified suspects entered The Gap and began browsing. The two females began acting rowdy and selected several garments and threw them on the floor. This behavior caught the attention of employees in the store who confronted the suspects.

The suspects were using profanities acting aggressive, told an employee that they were going to take the articles of clothing they had and leave the store without paying. The suspects brazenly walked out of the store with over $600 work of merchandise.
