The North Attleboro Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect who committed an armed robbery at Shaw's Market, 11 Toner Blvd., North Attleboro, MA.

On Friday, 10/30/20, at approximately 5:30 PM, a suspect entered Shaw's and approached the clerk at the customer service desk to purchase a piece of fruit which he had in his hand. While waiting for the clerk, the suspect brandished a knife and demanded cash or the clerk would die.

The suspect was described as a white male being short and stocky, about 4'10" to 5'0", with large thighs. The suspect was wearing a red hoody with tan pants, black mask, black baseball cap with a white logo in the center, and blue latex gloves.

The suspect fled the store from the main entrance with an undetermined amount of cash.

CAPTURED:

On 11/12/20, a suspect in this case was identified and arrested by Massachusetts State Police along with Bridgewater MA Police after a vehicle pursuit. The suspect was identified as:

JUSTIN W. O'CONNELL (36) with a last known address in Brockton, MA.

NOTE: This suspect was involved in several other similar incidents with another female suspect.
