The Seekonk Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect who attempted an armed robbery at the Crossroads Convenience, 822 Fall River Ave, Seekonk, MA.

On Saturday, 4/25/20, at about 2:24 PM, the suspect entered the store and demanded the clerk open the cash drawer. The suspect stated that he had a gun and wasn't afraid to use it.

At this time, it is unknown if a vehicle was used.

CAPTURED:

On 5/6/2020, the Seekonk Police Department reported the apprehension of the suspect in this case. He is identified as NILES W. WEBSTER, 37, with addresses in Bristol and Woonsocket, R.I. The suspect also has previous addresses in Massachusetts. He was arrested in Woonsocket, R.I. and awaiting trial at the RI ACI along with extradition as a fugitive.
