The North Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect involved in the robbery of the CVS, 120 Eddie Dowling Highway in North Smithfield, R.I. (Dowling Village Plaza)

On Friday, 4/24/2020 at 11:10 AM, the suspect entered the store and demanded all the money from the register, which the cashier placed in a CVS bag and gave it to the suspect. The suspect did not display a weapon nor did he mention a weapon.

The subject was described as a white male, possibly in his 30s, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt and a backwards tan hat, wearing a surgical mask. The subject made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

He fled the area, possibly on foot headed towards Woonsocket.
