The North Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify a female suspect who committed an assault on an employee at McDonald's, 12 Eddie Dowling Highway, North Smithfield, R.I.

On Sunday, 12/29/2019, at approximately 2:37 AM, a female suspect approached the drive thru window at McDonald's and began to get into a verbal argument with the McDonald's employee. During the argument the female suspect began assaulting the McDonald's worker.

The suspect then fled the area in a dark colored sedan, unknown registration plates.
