The Johnston Police Department is attempting to locate a suspect who took numerous religious artifacts from St. Rocco's Church, 929 Atwood Ave., Johnston, R.I.

On Tuesday, 10/22/19, the suspect in this case allegedly stole four (4) chalices from the church. Three (3) of the four (4) chalices have been recovered. However, one of the chalices has not been recovered by police as of this date.

On 7/24/2020, the Johnston Police Department reports that the suspect in this case has been captured. He is been identified as:

DAVID D. FERRARA (63) with last known addresses in Providence and Pawtucket.
