The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect involved in shoplifting incidents in at Kohl's Department Store (The Crossings at Smithfield), 371 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, R.I.

On Monday, 9/23/19, at approximately 1:05 PM, a male subject arrives in the parking lot in a white Volkswagen Passat and enters the store. The suspect then selects two (2) pairs of Adidas sneakers and leaves without paying for them,

The suspect is also responsible for similar incident in Warwick, RI.
