The North Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect who broke into a residence on Slater Dr their town.

On Sunday, 6/23/19, at approximately 8:11 PM, a male suspect was seen at the front of a residence on Slater Dr. The suspect broke down the front door and entered the property. Once inside, the suspect tripped the home alarm system and fled the area.

The suspect has a distinct tattoo on his right forearm "Sheryl" in script writing. He also wore a baseball cap with an insignia logo "LURKING CLASS".
