The Bellingham MA Police Department is attempting to identify any suspects involved in the theft of a U-Haul from North Smithfield, R.I., which was later used to steal several gas grills in Bellingham, MA.

On Saturday, 5/11/2019 at approximately 10:20 PM, Bellingham Police responded to a larceny in progress involving a U-Haul box truck and a theft of Weber gas grills. Three male suspects exited the U-Haul and cut a cable securing the grills and together loaded 3 Weber grills in the rear of the U-Haul.

A Bellingham police officer intercepted the U-Haul in Franklin where a pursuit began and vehicle was later recovered in Plainville along with the grills. The U-Haul was stolen from the North Smithfield, R.I. at their U-Haul lot less than an hour prior to our grill theft.
