The Central Falls Police Department is attempting to locate a suspect involved in an aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon that took place on Knight St. in Central Falls, R.I.

The suspect allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend on the neck close to the jugular vain on Thursday, 4/11/2019,

The suspect is identified as:

ONEIL A. HERNANDEZ MALAVE (21) from Central Falls, R.I.

He is described as being a Hispanic male, 5'10" tall, 190 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. He has several identifiable tattoos on his arms and wrists. Hernandez Malave also has several unrelated outstanding warrants for his arrest.

The suspect may be fleeing the State and heading to Miami, Florida.

The suspect may be operating a dark blue Hyundai with tinted windows, unknown model, bearing CT. Veteran registration 531-VBE. The plates do not match the vehicle.
