The Cranston Police Department is attempting to identify a female suspect involved in a larceny and attempted fraud at the Verizon Store in Cranston, R.I.

The suspect, described as a light skinned African American female, entered the store and spoke to an employee regarding an IPhone XS Max. The suspect then attempts to open a fraudulent account under an assumed name. The suspect argues with the employee and takes the phone fleeing the store running towards Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza.
