The Smithfield Police Deparment is attempting to identify two male suspects involved in a fraud at the Target store, located at The Crossing, 371 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, R.I.

On Sunday, 9/16/2018, two black males entered Target and bought two birthday cards. They then selected 8 gift cards and charged $3,553.78 onto the gift cards using 7 different Visa cards with different names on them.

The suspects left the store and got into a newer model grey Mercedes that was parked near Kohl's Department Store.
