The Cranston Police Department is attempting to identify a female who robbed the Santander Bank located at 555 Reservoir Ave in Cranston, RI.

On Tuesday, 2/09/2016, at approximately 10 AM, a white female suspect entered the Santander Bank and handed the teller a note and threatened the teller that she had a weapon. The female suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The female suspect is described as being approx 5' 0' - 5' 3" tall, wearing pink pants, and a gray hoodie with dark shoulders and stars down the arms, and a black knit cap with a brim. She was also wearing black UGG boots.

The female suspect was seen fleeing to a waiting vehicle and appeared to get into the passenger side of the suspect vehicle.

CAPTURED:

The Cranston Police Department report that the suspect in this case was capture the same day as the robbery by members of the Attleboro (MA) Police Department at a hotel in their jurisdiction. She was extradited to RI as a Fugitive from Justice and being held at the ACI. The suspect is identified as:

SHANNON G. SAMPSON (27) with a last known address in Cranston, R.I.
