The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify two male suspects involved in an identity theft that occurred at Kay's Jewelers, 371 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, RI. and Home Depot in South Attleboro, MA.

On Saturday, 2/27/16, a black male suspect went into Kay Jewelers and opened a Kay Jeweler's credit card. The suspect presented an altered RI temporary identification card with his photograph attached, but with another person's identifying information.  The black male suspect charged $4,072.48 to this account.

On Tuesday, 3/1/2016, the white male entered Home Depot, 1100 Newport Ave, South Attleboro, MA. This white male used the same identity on the RI temporary identification that was used at Kay Jewelers in Smithfield, RI.  However, the white male had his photograph attached to it . This white male opened a Home Depot credit card and charged $1,501.31 to this account. The same white male then responded to the Home Depot in Smithfield, RI, and charged an additional $2,301.10 to this credit card.
