The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect who passed counterfeit money at the Brewed Awakenings, 1577 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI.

On Thursday, 02/24/2016, at approximately 1:38 PM, a tall, dark skinned male in his late twenties or early thirties approached the counter ordered two (2) iced coffees. The male suspect then paid for the the iced coffees with a $100 dollar bill.

It was discovered that the $100 bill passed by the suspect was counterfeit.
