The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect involved in the theft and fraudulent use of a stolen credit card at the Target store in Smithfield, R.I.

On Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at approximately 4:36 PM,  the male suspect opened up a Target Credit Card at Target in Smithfield using the victim’s name. At 6:46pm, the suspect uses the credit card with the victim’s name to purchase a $400.00 Visa Pre-Paid Credit Card.

The white male suspect is described as being in his 50’s or 60’s, medium build, gray hair, and wearing a sport jacket and glasses. The victim lives in Warwick, Rhode Island.
