The North Kingstown Police Department is attempting to identify a female suspect involved in an identity theft at the Wal-Mart on Ten Rod Rd. in North Kingstown, RI.

On Wednesday, 4/6/2016, a victim received a bill from Wal-Mart credit services indicating that she owed $1,370.79 for a credit card purchase at the North Kingstown Wal-Mart. The victim reported the incident to police and noted that she had never applied for a Wal-Mart credit card.

The investigation revealed that the female suspect depicted, opened a fraudulent account in the victim's name using a Pennsylvania driver's license. The suspect then made the fraudulent purchases with the newly opened fraudulent account.
