The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify 2 suspects involved in a fraudulent use of credit cards at the Target store in Smithfield, R.I.

On Thursday, March 26, 2016, at 2:28 PM,a male and female suspect attempted to purchase two (2) Visa Gift cards valued ae $812.00 at Target located in Smithfield.

At 2:29 PM, the same male and female suspects attempted to purchase another Visa Gift Card for $406.00 at Target.

Both transactions were denied and the suspects stated that they would be back later. However, they never returned.
