The North Kingstown Police Department is attempting to identify a female suspect involved in the theft and fraudulent use of an ATM/Debit card.

On Monday, 5/16/2016, the female suspect took an ATM/Debit card from an ATM in North Kingstown after its owner left it in the machine after use. The suspect then fraudulently used the card at Walmart, Home Depot and Wendy's in North Kingstown and two locations in Providence.

The suspect was seen getting into a white pickup truck.

The North Kingstown Police Department reports that the suspect in this case contacted police and implicated herself in this case as a result of seeing her photo on this site. She is identified as:

CLAUDIA ESSEX (52) of Exeter, RI

ESSEX turned herself in to police on 6/16/16.
