The Coventry Police Department, along with the Perkasie Borough (PA.) Police Department, is attempting to identify a female suspect involved in an identity theft investigation involving both jurisdictions.

A victim from Pennsylvania reported her identity was used to fraudulently open a Wal-Mart MasterCard account at the Wal-Mart store in Coventry, RI on Tuesday, 5/10/2016.

That account was subsequently used to pay for a purchase of 2 iPads and assorted iTunes gift cards at the same store totaling $1496.86.

The female suspect appears to be of Hispanic descent, and was seen being driven to and from the store in a newer model black colored Honda Accord with unknown NY plates (most likely a rental car).
