The North Smithfield Police Department is attempting to apprehend two suspects involved in a home invasion that took place on Victory Highway in the Town of North Smithfield, R.I.

On Sunday, 6/29/2016, at approximately 9:00 AM, two masked suspects committed a home invasion where an elderly male lived. During the home invasion, the 72 year old male homeowner was confronted by the suspects and beaten with a chair causing serious injuries. The suspects then ransacked the victim's home, cut the phone lines, and fled.

LEE GERVAIS, JR. (26) with a last known address in Woonsocket, RI.

UPDATE 6/22/16 CAPTURED: With assistance from the Woonsocket Police Department, the North Smithfield Police Department report the capture of SUSPECT #1: LEE GERVAIS, JR. in the City of Woonsocket.
