The Rhode Island State Police (Lincoln Woods Barracks) is attempting to identify a female suspect involved in passing several counterfeit travelers checks at the Stop & Shop, 333 West River Rd., Providence, RI.

On Sunday, July 3, 2016 an unknown femal suspect entered the Stop and Shop and presented a cashier with three (3) counterfeit traveler's checks. The suspect obtained approximately $500 in merchandise.

The woman is described as a middle aged, dark skinned female, wearing a red shirt, red hat, white capris style pants, and flip-flops.
