The Rhode Island State Police are attempting to identify a suspect involved in fraudulent purchases made with cloned debit card.

On Wednesday, 7/6/2016, a dark skinned male used a cloned debit card to make fraudulent purchases of merchandise at Walmart stores in Coventry and North Kingstown, RI.

Cloning a credit/debit card is a technique where the suspect obtained the victim's credit/debit card information and then copied them onto a counterfeit credit card.
