The Cranston Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect involved in the theft of a purse at the Price Rite Market, 1441 Elmwood Ave, Cranston, RI.

On Monday, 7/25/16, just after noontime, the owner of the purse had mistakenly left her purse near the front counter of the market and left. The female suspect then claimed to store employees that the purse was hers. The suspect then left the store with the purse.

The suspect is a white female, approx. 30-40 years of age, medium to stocky build with dirty blond or light brown hair.
