The Cranston Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect involved in shoplifting and obtaining money under false pretenses that occurred on Labor Day at the KMart, 296 Garfield Ave, Cranston, RI.

On 08/05/2016, a male suspect was captured on store surveillance acting suspiciously around the register and appeared to be moving money around, similar to a flim flam, the counter when the clerk was not paying attention. The suspect also took merchandise from the store without making any attempt to pay for the items he took.
