The Groton CT Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Chelsea Groton Savings Bank located at 1319 Gold Star Highway. Groton, CT.

On Tuesday, 11/15/2016, at approximately 11:33 AM, a white male entered the Chelsea Groton Savings Bank and approached the teller. The subject handed what is believed to be a dunkin donuts bag to the teller and demanded money.

The suspect, who did not display or indicate that he had a weapon, fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
