The Richmond Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect involved in an identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card at the Sprint Store, 1199 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, RI.

On 1/5/2017, a resident of Richmond, RI reported to the Richmond Police Department that his identity had been compromised and that someone opened up several fraudulent credit card accounts in his name. Some of the stores include Home Depot, Kohl's, Dick's Sports, and Sprint with fraudulent purchases made in RI and MA.

On 12/6/2016, an unidentified suspect entered the Sprint Store in Cranston and fraudulently obtained 5 iPhones ($3875.10) which were previously purchased online using the victim's information.

This case may be connected to other fraud cases being investigated by numerous agencies involving at least 1 other suspect.
