IDENTIFIED:

The Cranston Police Department is attempting to locate RICHARD GILES, a convicted sex offender who is registered with the Cranston Police Department. His last registered address was 1612 Broad St. Apt#1 in Cranston, R.I.

RICHARD GILES (49) is described as being 6'4" tall, 222 lbs., with gray receding hair. GILES does wear glasses.

However, it was learned that GILES had been evicted from the residence on or about 1/1/17. GILES did not report the change of address to the Cranston Police Department and is therefore in violation.

An arrest warrant was obtained for failure to report a sex offender change of address. GILES is believed to be in the Providence RI area.

CAPTURED:

On 2/3/17, the West Warwick Police Department have reported that GILES was captured hiding in an apartment in the Artic section of their town.
