The Coventry Police Department is investigating a shoplifting incident that took place at BJ's Wholesale Club, 790 Centre of New England Blvd., Covetnry, R.I.

On Sunday, 7/16/2017, a suspect described as a white male, approximately 6'4" tall, in his 30's, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a black ball cap entered the store. A short time later, the suspect ran out of the store carrying 2 iRobot Roomba vacuum cleaners valued at $319.99 each. He was seen getting into a maroon colored early 2000's model VW Jetta bearing RI reg. 710-844.

That plate had been reported stolen to Cranston PD earlier that day. Although the security pictures are of poor quality, he appears to be the same suspect in similar incidents in Seekonk MA (RIMW 170071) and Attleboro MA.
