The East Providence Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect who used a counterfeit license to make a purchase of a vehicle at State Line Nissan, 845 Taunton Ave., East Providence, RI.

The suspect pictured used a cloned/counterfeit Pennsylvania drivers license to purchase a 2017 Nissan Maxima. However, the fraudulent license did contain a picture of the suspect.

The information on the drivers license belonged to a victim who resides in different state and had no knowledge his information had been compromised.
