The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect who is involved in numerous thefts of golf club sets from Dick's Sporting Goods, 371 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, RI.  

On Tuesday, 8/29/17, at approximately 12:58 PM, - A bald male suspect with glasses entered the Dick’s Sporting Goods Store and selected at Titleist AP16 Iron Set ($899.99) and a Taylormade M2 Iron set ($799.99) and left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.

On Friday, September 1, 2017 at approximately 10:30 AM, the same male suspect came back to Smithfield and stole a Titleist XP-90 Iron set valued at $900.00.

The same suspect appears to have hit Dick’s Sporting Goods in North Attleboro on 08/29/17 at 12:28PM,  just prior to the Smithfield incidents.

This suspect also hit the Worcester Dick's Sporting Goods on 8/31/17 at 11:30 AM. 

In all cases, golf club sets are stolen by the suspect.  This suspect may be the same male involved with at least two other suspects committing similar thefts at other New England Dick's Sporting Goods stores.
