The Cranston Police Department is attempting to identify a male and female suspect that passed numerous $100.00 counterfeit bills in the Garden City shopping plaza, Cranston, R.I.

The unidentified male suspect #1 is approximately 6' tall medium build with short dark brown curly hair. He was wearing a black hooded zip up Nike brand sweatshirt and light gray sweatpants.

Suspect #1 was with the unidentified female suspect #2 who is described as medium to heavy build with long/medium blonde straight hair, wearing a black hooded zip up Nike brand sweatshirt and black tight leggings.

CAPTURED (Suspect #3)

Suspect #3, who was with the first two suspects, was later identified as:

CHRIS MODESTO (21) from Bronx, New York.

Modesto has been apprehended for passing counterfeit $100.00 bills at several stores in the Plaza that evening, Modesto is being held facing additional charges.
