The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify two suspects involved in a fraud that occurred at Kohl's Department Store, 371 Putnam Pike, The Crossing at Smithfield, R.I.

On Monday, October 2, 2017, at approximately at approximately 3:30pm, Members of the Smithfield Police Department responded to Kohl’s Department Store for a fraud complaint. One of the suspects opened up a credit card with a fraudulent Connecticut driver’s license with the name Rober Cooper, out of Old Lyme CT. Both suspects left the store with several hundred dollars in merchandise prior to police arrival.

The suspects left in a 2003 Volkswagen Passat bearing Pennsylvania Registration KBE1476. This vehicle comes back registered to Juan De Dios Jimenez.
