The Coventry Police Department is atttempting to identify a female suspect involved in the theft of a purse and forgery of a check that was transacted at the Coventry Credit Union, 2006 Nooseneck Hill Rd (Rt 3), Coventry, R.I.

On 10/27/2017, a female victim had reported her purse stolen from her vehicle in Warwick.

On 11/3/17, the female suspect  presented a personal check made payable to my victim for $1600.00 at the Coventry Credit Union drive-up teller window using the victim's RI drivers' license as her identification (victim has an account at the same credit union). The signature of the victim was forged in the endorsement section. The check was drawn off a Bank of America personal check in the name of another woman from Middleton, MA. 

This suspect may be involved in an organized traveling criminal ring.

DEVYN A. CORREIA (26) from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
