The West Warwick Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect or suspects involved in 2 residential breaking and enterings that took place in the Hilltop Estates section of West Warwick, R.I.

On Wednesday, 1/3/2018 and again on Tuesday 01-09-2018, two homes were broken into: one on Gilcrest Rd and the other on Kathleen Court. In one incident, a suspect attempted to disable a home security camera. He was captured by video just before the camera became disabled. Several thousand dollars in assorted jewelry was taken from the homes.

The suspect is described as either a white or Hispanic male, who has a distinctive tattoo on his right wrist. The pattern appears to be scales or a wall like image. The suspect was also wearing a hooded sweatshirt to cover his head while tampering with the camera.
