The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect involved in a shoplifting case that took place at Kohl's (Smithfield Crossings) in Smithfield, R.I.

On 1/30/18, at 5:08 PM, a heavy set white female with glasses selected several pairs of size 10 Nike sneakers and fled the store.

The suspect got into what appears to be a black Chevy HHR that was waiting outside on the sidewalk.

This suspect is believed to be involved in similar crimes at other locations.

MICHELLE SCHULTZ (35) with last known addresses in Cumberland, Warren, North Kingstown, RI and Franklin and Norwood, MA.

On 2/8/2018, SCHULTZ turned herself in to Smithfield Police.
