The Tiverton Police Department is attempting to located a suspect involved in a bank robbery that occurred at the Bank of Newport, 614 Main Rd, Tiverton, R.I.

On Monday, 4/2/18, at approximately 9:19 AM, a male suspect entered bank and produced a note demanding money. The suspect stated he had a gun even although no gun was shown.

The suspect fled in a 2005 Dodge Durango into the city of Fall River, MA which was later reported stolen in New Bedford, MA.

IDENTIFIED:

The Tiverton Police Department has identified the suspect in this case as:

CODY TOOLIS (27) from Fall River, MA.

TOOLIS is currently wanted in Tiverton, R.I. for 2nd degree robbery. He is also wanted on numerous warrants in the State of Massachusetts.

CAPTURED:

The Tiverton Police Department reports that TOOLIS has turned himself in to police.
