As they were getting into the vehicle, the suspect exited the passenger side of a silver Jeep Cherokee that was parked nearby.</p> <p>Security video captures the male&nbsp;suspect approaching the passenger side of the victim&rsquo;s vehicle and forcing the door open. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, slim build, scruffy facial hair, possibly with a neck tattoo. and wearing a red Chicago Bulls baseball cap with a black visor.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The suspect also has a distinct tattoo on his neck and one on the back of his hand.</p> Case ID 26542 <p>The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect who broke into the Verizon Wireless store at 370 Putnam Pike (The Crossings), Smithfield, R.I.</p> <p>The unidentified suspect broke the window glass to the storefront of the Verizon Wireless store, entered the store and stole numerous display phones in the front of the store.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> Case ID 26537 <p>The East Providence Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Thursday 5/23, at the Citizens Bank, 622 Taunton Avenue.</p> <p>The suspect entered the bank at approximately 5 PM and passed a note to the teller.&nbsp; No&nbsp;weapon shown.</p> <p>The suspect is described as a white male between 40 and 50 years of age, approximately 5&#39;9&quot;, wearing a white baseball cap and sunglasses.&nbsp;</p> Case ID 26533 <p>The Bellingham MA Police Department is attempting to identify any suspects involved in the theft of a U-Haul from North Smithfield, R.I., which was later used to steal several gas grills in Bellingham, MA.</p> <p>On Saturday,&nbsp; 5/11/2019 at approximately 10:20 PM, Bellingham Police&nbsp; responded to a larceny in progress involving a U-Haul box truck and a theft of Weber gas grills. Three male suspects&nbsp;exited the U-Haul and cut a cable securing the grills and together loaded 3 Weber grills in the rear of the U-Haul.</p> <p>A Bellingham police officer intercepted the U-Haul in Franklin where a pursuit began and vehicle was later recovered in Plainville along with the grills. The wallet, along with the cash inside, was taken soon thereafter and the victims credit card was used minutes later at a Target store in Warwick by an unknown&nbsp;female suspect.</p> Case ID 26527 <p>RENE CORREA,&nbsp;(alias: Reginald Correa) was released from the Adult Correctional Institution on 4/22/19 on a Cranston Police&nbsp;charge of failure to notify of a sex offender change of address.</p> <p>After his release on 4/22/19, Correa did not return to his registered address of the Harrington Hall Shelter, 30 Howard Ave. in Cranston.</p> <p>The Cranston Police Department has obtained a&nbsp;new warrant for his arrest for failure to notify of a sex offender change of address.</p> <p>At this time, his whereabouts are unknown.</p> Case ID 26525 <p>On 3/12/19, the Cranston Police Department has&nbsp;obtained an arrest warrant on FREDERICK GIBSON&nbsp;for failure to notify of a sex offender change of address.</p> <p>An investigation determined that GIBSON&nbsp;was no longer staying at his registered address of the Harrington Hall Shelter, 30 Howard Ave. in Cranston.</p> <p><strong><span style="color:rgb(255, 0, 0)">CAPTURED:</span></strong></p> <p>On 5/20/19, the Cranston Police reported the capture of the suspect in this case.</p> Case ID 26523 <p>On 3/20/19, EDWARD IRVING&nbsp;was released from the ACI on a Cranston Police Department&nbsp;charge of failure to notify police of a sex offender change of address.</p> <p>After his release on that date, IRVING&nbsp;never returned to his registered address of the Harrington Hall Shelter, 30 Howard Ave and he did not register in another jurisdiction.</p> <p>A warrant was again obtained on IRVING&nbsp;for failure to notify police of a sex offender change of address.</p> <p>His whereabouts since 3/20/19 are unknown.</p> Case ID 26520 <p>The Seekonk Police Department is attempting to identify two female suspects involved in the theft of over $2000.00 worth of merchandise from the Ulta Store in Seekonk, MA.</p> <p>On Saturday, 5/11/19 at approximately 8:45 PM, the two&nbsp;female suspects&nbsp;entered the store and concealed over $2,000.00 worth of cosmetics and fragrances.&nbsp; Both suspects left the store and made no attempt to pay for the merchandise.</p> <p>These suspects may be involved in similar thefts at Ulta Stores throughout the region.</p> Case ID 26520 <p>The Seekonk Police Department is attempting to identify two female suspects involved in the theft of over $2000.00 worth of merchandise from the Ulta Store in Seekonk, MA.</p> <p>On Saturday, 5/11/19 at approximately 8:45 PM, the two&nbsp;female suspects&nbsp;entered the store and concealed over $2,000.00 worth of cosmetics and fragrances.&nbsp; Both suspects left the store and made no attempt to pay for the merchandise.</p> <p>These suspects may be involved in similar thefts at Ulta Stores throughout the region.</p> Case ID 26517 <p>The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify two suspects who failed to pay for food and services at the Tavolo Wine Bar, 970 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, R.I.</p> <p>The male and female suspects ordered over $100.00 worth of food and drinks and left the restaurant without making any attempt to pay for their order.&nbsp;</p> <p>These same two are suspected of committing several similar thefts of food and service at other locations in our area along with other jurisdictions.</p> Case ID 26517 <p>The Smithfield Police Department is attempting to identify two suspects who failed to pay for food and services at the Tavolo Wine Bar, 970 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, R.I.</p> <p>The male and female suspects ordered over $100.00 worth of food and drinks and left the restaurant without making any attempt to pay for their order.&nbsp;</p> <p>These same two are suspected of committing several similar thefts of food and service at other locations in our area along with other jurisdictions.</p> Case ID 26514 <p>The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify two female suspects shoplifted several hundred dollars worth of merchandise from the Burlington Coat Factory, 1386 Atwood Ave., Johnston, R.I.</p> <p>On Friday, 4/26/19, at approximately 11:42 AM, two female suspects entered the store and&nbsp;filled two red store baskets with a large amounts of merchandise.&nbsp; The two then passed by several registers making no attempt to pay for nearly $500.00 worth of clothing. No suspect vehicle is known at this time.</p> <p>These suspects may be involved in other similar incidents in our area.</p> Case ID 26512 <p>The Cranston Police Department is attempting to identify a male suspect involved in the theft of over $2000.00 worth of auto parts from Park Ave Auto Services in Cranston, R.I.</p> <p>On Sunday afternoon, 4/7/19, a male suspect pulled behind the business and&nbsp; stole an engine, radiator, transmission, and exhaust system&nbsp;and loaded it into the rear of a pickup truck that did not have any registration plates.&nbsp; The vehicle is described as an older model maroon colored F-150 extended cab pickup truck.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The suspect is described as an older white male with light gray scruffy goatee, wearing a green shirt, black pants, and a baseball cap worn backwards.</p> <p>This suspect may be involved in similar thefts in other communities.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 255)"><strong>IDENTIFIED:</strong></span></p> <p>On 4/19/19, the Cranston Police Department identified the suspect in this case as:</p> <p><strong>JAMES R. GRASSI (53)</strong>, with last known address&nbsp;in Providence.&nbsp; He also had previous addresses in Woonsocket, RI and Holliston, MA.&nbsp; Additional security video obtained revealed that the suspect had a plate on the vehicle at one point, Comm 38856, which does not come back to the suspect.</p> <p><span style="color:rgb(255, 0, 0)"><strong>CAPTURED:</strong></span></p> <p>On 4/24/19, the suspect in this case, <strong>JAMES R. GRASSI</strong>, was captured by Providence PD near R.I. Hospital.&nbsp; He was taken into custody and turned over to Cranston PD.</p> Case ID 26509 <p>The Cranston Police Department is attempting to identify two female suspects involved in&nbsp;a larceny at the Walmart, 1776 Plainfield Pike, Cranston, R.I.</p> <p>On&nbsp; Monday,&nbsp;3/18/19, two dark skinned female suspects&nbsp;approached a register and pried&nbsp;it open within 5 seconds.&nbsp; &nbsp;The suspects took $4,200.00 cash from the register and fled the store in an unknown vehicle. The suspects were able to conceal the theft by carrying clothing over their arms.</p> <p>Two days prior to this incident, Weymouth MA PD received a similar report where $4,000.00 was taken&nbsp;in their jurisdiction.</p>
