Please only enter number of suspects for those you have photo(s) available, even if there is more than one suspect involved in the crime, and send full photo's, do not crop allow site manager to crop to size needed to place on site.   If additional information and photo's are obtained at a later date, they can be e-mailed to Joan Collins and added to your submission.Web site managers can be contacted 24/7 for any questions concerning the site or if you are having difficulty making a submission at (401) 444-1000, or by e-mail  at rimwinfo@risp.dps.ri.gov (not checked every day-call for emergencies).  For emergency situations call (401) 444-1000 and request that one of the site managers, Police Communications Specialist Joan Collins, be paged.

We depend on our submitting agencies to keep us updated when they make an identification, a capture, or close a case. Only the submitting agency should report a capture or update for the case.  Information from an agency, other than the submitting agency, should be forwarded via report a tip, send feedback, or e-mail to  rimwinfo@risp.dps.ri.gov .  *  NOTE:  Approximately every four months a 'NAG' Reminder will automatically be forwarded to the e-mail address(es) entered in the submission advising of any open case(s) and requesting that the posted case be reviewed to keep the web site current and accurate.
 
 
Submitting agencies should notify employee's within their own agency when making a submission. Media does use this site as a source of information and may call for additional information or wishing to feature a case.   

Note for Non-Law Enforcement - If you are attempting to provide information on a crime, that is not currently posted on this web site,  you can contact the agency by telephone where the crime occurred, click on "Send  Feedback"  (name, phone, e-mail are not required), or e-mail information to:  rimwinfo@risp.dps.ri.gov and the information will be forwarded to the appropriate agency.
