February 14, 2015 - West Warwick : Islamic School of Rhode Island, 840 Providence St

An unknown male suspect vandalized the Islamic School of Rhode Island, which is a kindergarten through grade 8 institution. The suspect spray painted derogatory words and statements against the Islamic religion on the school building. Some of these statements contained graphic use of expletives, and were derogatory statements against the Islamic prophet Muhammad, and to the Islamic diety Allah. The suspect successfully masked/blocked his face from camera view. By video surveillance, the suspect has the physical stature of a male. He is wearing a hooded sweatshirt, possibly gray, and the hood and shoulders have the appearance of being wet with melted snow from being outside while committing the act during a snowstorm.

This case is being investigated as a Vandalism/Hate Crime.
