Case Details:

The Cranston Police Department is investigating a stolen vehicle complaint that occurred at the Malone Plumbing & Heating parking lot at 75 Russe St., Cranston, R.I.

A dark blue dodge minivan, with polished five spoke mag wheels, enters the parking lot of the business.

Suspect 1, described as a skinny male with beard, exits the passenger side of the minivan and attempts to open the door to building. He is then seen breaking into a box truck through the passenger door.

Suspect 2, a visibly larger suspect, enters the box truck and steals the truck by backing it out of the lot and drives off.  Suspect 1 gets back into minivan and drives off.

The stolen truck was recovered on Thursday, 5/19/14, in the west end of Providence. The tools and materials contained in the stolen truck were stolen (approximately $2000.00).

The Cranston Police Department, with assistance from the Rhode Island State Police, report the capture of both suspects in this case.  They are identified as:

1. LUIS BENITEZ (32) of Providence.

2. MIGUEL DECASTRO (20) of Providence.
