Case Details:
The East Greenwich Police Department is attempting to identify two suspects that entered two stores on Main St. and stole several pieces of assorted jewelry on Saturday, 12/1/12.
The victim businesses were identified as: Lost Treasures, 75 Main St., and Lola's Vintage Closet, 412 Main St.
In both instances, the male asked to see numerous pieces of jewelry. Shortly after, the male suspect told the clerk the would return with money.
After the couple left the stores the both store owners noticed several pieces of jewelry missing. According to the store owners, the couple spoke to each other in Spanish and claimed that they were buying gold to bring back to Mexico.
Taken in the thefts were assorted gold rings with assorted diamonds and stones.
